JUAREZ 2004
From October 16 through 23, Farmington First United Methodist Church (FUMC) went to their first mission trip to Juarez, Mexico. Destination: Juventud Con Vision, an orphanaged founded by Jose Compean for youth ages 11 to 17 in age.
The purpose of the orphanage is to help these youth get an education and ultimately teach them skills that will be useful in obtaining employment.

| The mission set out for our team would involve construction of a building for storage and a workshop, arts and crafts, worship and devotional time, and in general just showing love and kindness to the youth. To encourage them that they are cared for and to have hope. |
